A federal jury in Beaumont has convicted 60-year old Ronald Seabridge, of Lumberton, of receiving, distributing, and possessing child pornography. Federal agents executed a search warrant of Brass Dragon Karate, Seabridge’s business and home in 2009 and determined he was using a peer-to-peer file sharing program to receive and distribute child pornography. He was convicted yesterday and was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal following the conviction. He faces up to 10 years in federal prison. A sentencing date has not been set.
