A judge in Orange County has ordered a teen to be detained for making threats. The 16-year
old from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School is accused of making the threats on social
media Wednesday night. The post, which indicated a threat of violence, was quickly deleted.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is taking the threat very serious and asks parents to warn
their children the seriousness of aking threats. The teen has been transported to the Minnie
Rogers Juvenile Detention Center.
