Judge Sentences Man To 20 Years In Prison

A 25-year old man who violated his probation for Intoxication Manslaughter and Intoxication

Assault has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. In 2016, Robert Nathan Darkins IV was

sentenced by a Jefferson County jury to 10 years in prison probated for 10 years. During a

hearing, Darkins admitted to using marijuana while on probation. Judge John Stevens sentenced

Darkins to 10 years for each count. The sentences will run consecutively.
