A Port Arthur man has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for an aggravated robbery. Ryan
Roccaforte was sentenced by a Jefferson County jury for a March 2017 robbery that occurred
in Groves in which he stabbed the victim in the arm. The victim, was able to get a gun and
shoot Roccaforte in the back with buckshot. The robbery took place during a drug deal.
In 2007, Roccaforte was sentenced to 10 years in prison for another aggravated robbery.
