Beaumont Woman Indicted For Auto/Pedestrian Fatality

The Jefferson County grand jury has indicted a woman in connection with hitting and killing a

man with her vehicle then leaving the scene. 29-year old Orireanna Grace Coleman is accused

of striking 26-year old Nicholas Erie Cole this past August at East Lucas and Helbig in

Beaumont. His body was found in a ditch the following the day. According to the indictment,

Coleman actually called police to report the incident claiming she witnesses a different vehicle.

It was later determined it was her vehicle.
