Tiger In Houston Neighborhood

(Houston, TX) -- Police in Houston are trying the find the owners of a tiger spotted prowling a residential neighborhood. The big cat was seen crossing a street and laying in a yard last night in Houston's Memorial neighborhood. An off-duty Waller County Sheriff's deputy pointed his gun at the animal before someone else ran up to the tiger, grabbed its collar, and took it inside. It's believed the tiger was moved to another location before officers arrived. It is illegal for tigers to be kept within Houston city limits.
