TMSG: 11-Year-Old Translates To Paramedics After Classmate Got Sick

11-year-old Faisal Alazawi from Ohio was on the school bus when a fellow sixth grader passed out.

Alazawi stayed with his friend until help arrived, not only because he was worried, but mostly because he knew his friend did not speak English. His friend regained consciousness by the time paramedics arrived and Alazawi went along with them to help translate everything.

According to local police, Alazawi was instrumental to first responders during the crisis. Police Chief Gary Haba says Alazawi was juggling multiple cell phones so that school officials could contact the patient's parents. He further assisted fire and police to render first aid to the patient.

Through it all, Alazawi's only concern was letting his mom know where he was and why he was late getting home. He was "very cool under all the pressure" and just wanted to help.
