The Atlantic Hurricane Season Begins Today

The six-month-long Atlantic hurricane season begins today and ends November 30th but around 85 percent of the action occurs in August, September and October. This directly effects us here on the Texas Coastline where we are no stranger to Mother Nature's Wrath i.e Rita (2005) and Ike (2008) We have been VERY fortunate that we haven't seen much "action" here in Southeast Texas since then and I pray it stays THAT WAY as I remember vividly BOTH Storms and it's something I never want to experience again!!!

If it is a "busy" season, I could be a "storm" this year
