AMC's Walking Dead Morgan (Lennie James) and Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln)

As many of you know I am OBSESSED with AMC's Original Series "The Walking Dead" and eagerly awaiting the start of Season 8 which is set to start in the Fall. In the meantime, the cast and crew are hard at work filming for Season 8 and during production Wednesday in Atlanta, according to various reports, stuntman John Bernecker fell more than 20 feet and hit the concrete below!  He was rushed to a hospital as production was temporarily halted. The 33 year-old succumbed to his injuries and was  pronounced dead at Atlanta Medical Center on Wednesday (July 12) The coroner ruled he died from blunt force trauma.

AMC announced yesterday (Thursday) they have "halted productin on the show’s eighth season in the wake of the tragedy."

TWD's Lauren Cohan (Maggie) James Frazier (Founder of WalkrStalkrCon) and Transformers: The Last Knight director Michael Bay all released statements via Twitter
