Last night's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs (42-34) wasn't the ONLY heartbreaking thing to happen at NRG! In the 1st quarter the Texan's beloved Defensive End JJ Watt suffered a leg injury that sent him to the hospital via ambulance with girlfriend Kealia Ohai by his side. The left tabial plateau fracture will sideline the 3-Time Defensive Player Of The Year for the remainder of the season and this morning he issued an "apology" that absolutely broke our hearts. Watt lamented "I can't sugarcoat it, I am devastated. All I want to do is be out there on that field for my teammates and this city. I'm sorry." Well no apology NEEDED, we just want you to get well and praying for a full and speedy recovery!!

Watt was not the ONLY Defensive Player to get injured last night. Whitney Mercilus exited the game on the seventh play of the game with what was reported as a chest injury but later determinded to be a torn pectoral that will keep him out for the rest of the season!!! So what does this mean for our Texan's??? Time will tell!!
