(VIDEO) CMA Moments From Over The Years We Can't Seem To Forget!

Country Music fans have been treated to a lot of memorable CMA Moments over the years. Some moments we couldn't stop talking about for days or even weeks afterwards. Since they are SO many of those moments we shared a handful that left us speechless and THAT is hard to do. From the sentimental to silly, to the "what-in-the-heck were they thinking moments, we have shared some of our "favorites" from the CMA's from the past 50 years below. No doubt more special moments that we can look forward to tonight at the 51st Annual CMA Awards on ABC beginning at 7pm (CT) Will you be watching?

We begin with a moment that was shocking AND sad all at the same time....In 1975, the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Charlie Rich was to present that award to the winner that year. A very visibly intoxicated Rich went on to announce the nominees and then...........see video below

In 1989 then "newcomer" Randy Travis who was a presenter for the CMA Female Vocalist of The Year Award and got a "surprise visit"

Or what about at the 1993 CMA Awards when Reba McEntire made us all gasp when she stepped out on stage to perform with duet partner Linda Davis (Lady AntebellumHillary Scott's momma) in "that red dress"

In 1999 an UN-likely collaboration was revealed when SUPER Group Alabama took the stage with then SUPER Boy Band NSync *GASP* and 16 years later ironically Justin Timberlake (who was in NSync would return to the CMA stage solo with Chris Stapleton for that memorable performance of Tennessee Whiskey

Who can forget the emotional moment when Alan Jackson took the stage to sing the song he wrote shortly after 9/11 that left most of the audience and EVERYONE in tears??? This was just over a month after the deadly terrorist attack on the US back in 2001

Next, in 2006 Carrie Underwood won the Female Vocalist of the Year and fellow nominee Faith Hill FLIPPED OUT!! It was a if-you-blinked you missed it but the camera caught her reaction but afterwardsl Hill said her reaction was a "gag" and staged. Hmmmmmm you be the judge...

And finally a VERYpregnant Carrie Underwood seemed shocked when co host Brad Paisley "accidently revealed" the gender of her baby. Still not sure if that it was an accident OR it was staged but it did make for a memorable CMA moment!
