Every once in awhile a "celebrity" comes along and uses their fame for good. Not self-serving or for publicity sake but geniunely wanting to do something that makes a difference. Without question Tim Tebow is one of those rare gems!!! The one-time college football standout and 2007 Heisman Trophy winner went on to play professional football and during that time was often scrutinized for his outward displays of his Faith and Christian belief's. The now minor league baseball player is A MAJOR player to us with his charitable works through his Tim Tebow Foundation. The lastest was his "Night To Shine" event that was held simultaneoulsy last Friday Feb. 9.  Hosted by 537 churches nationwide and in 16 countries on six continents, including Albania, Burundi, Canada, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Kenya, Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Peru, the Philippines, South Africa, Uganda, Ukraine, and the U.S And to prove he really is a "super-man" Tebow made it five of the host locations in the course of a few days, including Virginia, Oklahoma, Guatemala, and Peru. The Foundation estimated that more than 90,000 people with special needs attended Night to Shine proms and each one of them was crowned a King or a Queen!
