Texans Among The Neediest In The Nation

(Austin, TX) -- A new study suggests Texas residents are among the neediest people in the nation. Financial services website WalletHub recently ranked all 50 states to determine which ones are the "most and least independent." The website used criteria, such as personal vices, support from the federal government, international trade, and consumer finance and debt. The Lonestar State ranked 39th overall. Utah is at the top of the ranking, while Louisiana is at the bottom.
