Jordan Davis paid tribute to Tracy Lawrence with an acoustic cover of one of his 90s ballads. It took place when he and his brother, Jacob Davis, appeared on the latest episode of God’s Country, hosted by another set of brothers, Dan and Reid Isbell.

The “Next Thing You Know” hitmaker teamed up with Jacob, Dan and Reid to deliver their rendition of “If the World Had a Front Porch,” which Lawrence released on his album, I See It Now. The 1994 project made its debut in 1994. The Isbell brothers posted a clip of that moment on Instagram shortly after the episode made its debut. They said the Davis brothers “are some huntin’ and sangin’ cajuns that grew up almost identical to us. From fist fights to lumbar support to duck hunting and asthma we cover it all. Preciate you boys stopping by and yall let us know who the duck callin champ is 🦆”

“Sounds great fellas 👏,” Lawrence wrote in a comment on Instagram.

“This week, God's Country brings you a special brothers episode where Dan and Reid host Jordan and Jacob Davis,” reads the description of the episode, which spans more than an hour. “These Louisiana boys reveal how their journey to Nashville brought about an unintended role reversal between the brothers. The guys discuss duck populations in the south and stage a duck call competition that we need your help judging! Dan tells about the first and last time Reid knocked him out cold and Jordan shares "The one that got away," which might be one of the wildest stories yet!”

Dan and Reid — who have written music for Luke CombsMiranda LambertScotty McCreeryJon PardiLainey Wilson and others — started their weekly podcast this year. Guests appearing on the show so far include HARDY, Dustin Lynch, Colbie Caillat and others.

“One of our favorite things about country music has always been how intertwined it is with the outdoors,” Dan and Reid Isbell said in a statement when God’s Country launched. They hope to “bring the outdoor enthusiast or country music lover an up close and personal look into the minds of some of the best songwriters and artists of the genre — a place where they can be honest about struggles, relationships, their connection to the outdoors, the music business, family, whatever they feel comfortable talking about. We can’t wait to see where this partnership will lead and who this podcast will reach.”

The iHeartPodcasts/MeatEater show is available anywhere you listen to podcasts, including in the iHeartRadio app. Select country stations will broadcast the show between 7-11:30 p.m. local time on Sunday evenings. Find God's Country here.
