Beaumont police report a Louisiana man was killed in a motorcycle accident in the 5000 block of College
Street yesterday afternoon. The motorcyclist, 22-year old Joseph Paul Richardson, was traveling west at
a high rate of speed and struck an eastbound vehicle that had turned across the westbound lanes.
Richardson was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries.
