Two Houston men are jailed after two “jugging” crimes in Jefferson County. The first occurred yesterday morning where the suspects followed a man from the Bank of America on Dowlen Road in Beaumont to Port Arthur and stole a bank bag from the vehicle. A short time later, the same suspect vehicle was back in Beaumont and followed a vehicle from Wells Fargo to Rave Financial. The driver went inside and the suspects broke out the back window of his car. A woman and a 5-month old child were in the car. The suspects demanded money from her purse and fled. The suspects were pulled over in Chambers County and returned to Jefferson County. 30-year old Tyree Hartley and 30-year old Hakeen Thomas, both from Houston, are charged with aggravated robbery.
