Jana Kramer already has “something planned” for her first wedding anniversary with husband Allan Russell — there’s just one “fear” that something will get in the way.
Kramer, 41, hinted at the anniversary plans when she and Russell, 44, caught up on the latest Adult Education episode of Whine Down with Jana Kramer. Throughout the podcast, the married duo talked about Kramer’s “crazy” schedule filming a movie, how Russell has been doing at home without her, and more.
The country singer-songwriter, actress, author and podcast host revealed to her husband (noting that her “fear” is scheduling conflicts with work), “I have something planned for you for our one-year wedding anniversary that you have no idea about. I have planned it. I have booked it. …I'm about to send a letter, an email, out to my agents and be like, ‘No matter what comes up, they're gonna have to move around these three dates.’”
Kramer and Russell tied the knot in a stunning ceremony at Carnell Estate in Scotland on July 13, 2024; however, they revealed in another Adult Education installment of the podcast earlier this year that they actually got married sooner. They revealed the secret after more than a year. Russell confirmed, “we got married in January [2024] and we made it formal in July,” noting “legalities” ahead of their wedding abroad, and “we were desperate to marry each other.” Kramer called the January 2024 marriage “private and precious.”
Kramer and Russell share one child together. They welcomed son Roman James Russell in November 2023. Roman joins Troy, Russell’s teen son from a previous relationship, and Jolie, 9, and Jace, 6, Kramer’s two children from her previous marriage.
