A man from Orange has been sentenced to 13 ½ years in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm. 45-year old John Marion LeBlanc was arrested in October of 2023 following a disturbance at the Orange boat ramp where shots were fired. Video surveillance shows Leblanc firing shots into a crowd striking a man in the arm. He pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced yesterday by U.S. District Court Judge Marcia Crone.
