One of the inmates involved in a fight at the Beaumont federal prison complex Monday has died from his injuries. 35-year old Ashford Tyrell Eldridge was one of three inmates that were transported to the hospital following the brawl. He died Wednesday morning. He was serving a 77 month sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The Federal Bureau of Prisons is investigating the fight.
