A lightning strike sparked an explosion in a storage tank yesterday afternoon at the Amlon Golden Triangle Eco Weeks facility on Proctor Street in Port Arthur. The fire spread to other tanks at the facility that removes chemicals, allowing wastewater to move through the city’s system. There were no injuries.
