A murder suspect is in custody. 54 year old Larry Fitzgerald Williams was arrested this morning in Houston. Beaumont police issued a murder warrant on Williams for Saturday’s shooting death of 51 year old Brian Lewis, who was shot a killed as he was mowing his lawn in the 1900 block of Delaware in Beaumont. Detectives do not believe this was a random act and Lewis was targeted for cooperating in a criminal case against Williams, who will be returned to Beaumont.
