A Beaumont man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. 63 year old Mitchell Joseph Sylvester pleaded guilty to using a machete to rob a game room in the 1100 block of South 11th Street in Beaumont this past February. If Sylvester would of gone on trail and been convicted, he would of received up to life in prison.
