A Port Arthur man that turned down a 10 year plea agreement is heading to prison for 20 years. 29 year old Josuha Mendez has been convicted and sentenced for attempting to sexually assault a four year child. Mendez was living with the family at the time and was interrupted when the father of the child walked into the room where the act was taking place. The trial took place in Judge John Stevens courtroom.
