A 21 year old Vidor man is jailed in Jasper County. Kenneth Phelps is accused of attacking the mother of his child in the parking lot of the Buna Little League Park. The victim was struck multiple times with a closed fist to her face and had her cell phone stolen. Phelp was arrested without incident and is charged with robbery. Additional charges could follow.
