Flames tore through the Burger King in Winnie on Tuesday afternoon. The fire erupted at the Burger King located off Interstate 10 near Highway 124, sending thick black smoke billowing into the sky—totaling the building. First responders from the Winnie-Stowell Volunteer Fire Department, Hamshire Volunteer Fire Department, and additional agencies battled the blaze. There were no injuries.
