Cleveland police are working with Liberty County Livestock Deputies to find the owner of a kangaroo they rounded up on Wednesday. Locals spotted the kangaroo hopping along FM 1010. Police and animal control, with the help of some civilians, rescued the kangaroo. Texas is one of 13 states that allow residents to own kangaroos as pets, though local regulations may vary. Anybody with information is asked to call the Liberty County Sheriff's Office.
