Megan Moroney prescribed a bitter dose of “Medicine” at the Cloud 9 Pharmacy.

The award-winning artist, 28, took the stage on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night (March 4). Moroney performed “Medicine” from her latest studio record while wearing signature Cloud 9 pink and playing a shimmering bedazzled guitar. She wrote “Medicine” anthem with Connie Harrington, Jessie Jo Dillon and Jessi Alexander. The sassy anthem prescribes an ex a bitter dose of his own medicine:

“Is it bitter going down, down, down?/ You don't like it too much, do you?/ Coming back around, round, round/ Ain't as fun when it's happening to you/ Oh, poor, poor you, now, who's the fool?/ Say I'm messing with your head again/ Well, how you like the taste of your own medicine?”

“Medicine” is one of 16 tracks that appears on Moroney’s highly-anticipated third studio album. She released the record on February 20, and added the 16th bonus track, “Sorry… I Meant Tonight,” the following week. Cloud 9 also includes the title track, “6 Months Later,” “Beautiful Things,” “I Only Miss You” with Ed Sheeran, “Bells & Whistles” with Kacey Musgraves, “Wish I Didn’t,” “Who Hurt You?,” and more.
