A Newton man is jailed following a confrontation with a deputy sheriff. The deputy was called to a civil dispute on Tuesday on FM 2626. Keve Cooper Blacksher Jr is accused of waving a shotgun at the deputy. Blackshear dropped the gun and approached the deputy in a threatening manner and attempted to hit the deputy on the head. The deputy used his taser and took Blackshear into custody.
