The former executive director of the Anahuac Chamber of Commerce was arrested Saturday on a charge of misapplication of financial property between 30 thousand and 150 thousand dollars.Thirty-two-year-old Katelynn Smith is charged in connection with an investigation that led to the cancellation of Gatorfest this year. Smith was the only paid employee of the chamber and oversaw the chamber plus the annual Gatorfest festival.
