The singer recently did an Instagram Live for her talk show and during the discussion, she promised fans that she would release her new album later this year. “I have an album coming out this year. I swear. I know I’ve been talking about it,” Clarkson told fans during the video, adding that there will be “a really cool way we’re releasing it.” The singer admitted that it “took a minute” to get to the point where she was ready to release the new project. Clarkson has previously shared that the album is inspired by her recent divorce from her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
